More late night theologicalizing

Something that may or may not make it into the eventual publication of "The Chris Knight Dictionary" (working title)...
Salvation: (noun) That which can not be earned, can not be achieved, but nonetheless must be desired in order to acquire.
Comments, as always, are more than welcome.

  1. Salvation cannot be obtained, but it can be had. Salvation is a gift of God, "For by grace oare you saved through faith: tnd that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8
God wishes everyone to be saved, but only some except the gift of life. "Who desires all men to be saved and to ome to the knowledge of the truth, for there is one God, and ond mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Who gave Himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time." 1 Timothy 2:4-6
"Salvation belongs to the Lord..."Psalm 3:8 He is the only one that can give it to you. It's your choice. "But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord, He is their strength in the time of trouble." Psalm 37:39
I hope that you make the decision to accept this gift. It's all about our relationship with Jesus. He only invites His friends home.
