I have come to realize a terrible, terrible thing about myself. Namely, that for all of my love of movies, my knowledge of film is woefully short compared to that of most people who I know.
It’s not for lack of trying though. I mean, my DVR is practically overflowing with movies which I have recorded but for whatever reason have never gotten around to watching. We are talking about stuff going back two and three years, with a couple even further than that.
So I’m going through a process of looking at all of that material, and writing my thoughts and observations about each film here. No particular frequency, just whenever I get to each movie. And in doing so you all will get to watch the evolution of a filmgoer.
